Thank you sir!
Working on finding a tool to remove pins from wiring harnesses so I can do the Modellista tails. Also saving $ because I need a professional install on the short shifter since I'm not comfortable doing it myself. It's the TWM with a height reduction as well so it's rather complicated...

Advocate, if you have a really really tiny flat head screwdriver (the ones they use for the eyeglasses screws), you can use that to take out/pry out the pins from wiring harness. And install onto new connectors.
I need to find where mine is at, but that is the way i did it for my RS tails plug and others for aftermarket tails~ don't know if they have a tool that they sell to consumers... |

I'm working on sourcing the tool directly from a shop, I don't want to damage the pins and I will need it later. The fuse box and most of the wiring in the car uses these pins so the tool will be incredibly useful.
As for connectors well I need two new ones because the USDM one won't fit and I don't think i'll be able to find the one on the new taillights.

Not sure if you could use the factory tail connector: https://www.trademotion.com/partloca...layCatalogid=0 Cheers Last edited by echo_hrs; 12-27-2009 at 01:43 PM. |
