Default Yarrrrg! It's my '09 Yarrrrrris =']

Some of the work that's gone into it

Tein Sport Compact Coilovers with Dampening for the Vitz/ Cusco Rear sway bar and front underbrace

AP Racing rotors/Endless NS97 pads/ Stainless & teflon coated lines/ Neo Synthetic brake fluid

Still finding things to get rid of up front lol
And my previous cars (and my current gf Gabby )

It came with Volk RE30's......don't ask I don't really know why lol

The Yaris is still the best car I've ever had the pleasure of driving and my first real car

I feel ya, my parents and friends didn't approve of me stripping my car either but that's the whole reason i bought it in the first place. The STI's and the EVO belong to my materialistic father, he still owns all 3 and they sit there wasting away. I made the choice to become independent and cut the strings with him and stop living to his expectations because it was causing anxiety and depression that was ruining my life. The Yaris was a way to get out of that mess and begin a new and much happier life. However, I am still very appreciative that I had the privilege of driving such beautiful cars and it pains me to see them mistreated. Thanks for commenting!

Thank you thank you! Yep, nothing matches the feeling of rolling off the lot in your own car

That black subie looks sick... You like the Yaris better? Is it only because you own it, or it it really that much fun to drive in comparison? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my Yaris but if I could afford a WRX, I would own one...

Yes, originally I was saving to have a custom cage made but my income has gone to crap and I'm in survival mode right now

In terms of overall performance, sure the Subaru has the Yaris beaten. What I find more appealing about driving a Yaris vs driving the STI or the EVO is that it's more challenging and in turn more rewarding to drive. I'd love to take the Subaru Autocrossing and let it rip but in the end I wanted something unique and harder to drive and that's what the Yaris has given me. I feel that learning to adjust for the inadequacies that the Yaris has, which are plenty, teaches me in ways that a 30k sports car cannot. However, yes it does help that it's MY first car I guess I've always had the mentality of trying to learn the basics, thus why I still autocross on really crappy tires, before investing a ton of money on a car that I can't even fully enjoy.
