Garm has been modding and tuning sport compact cars for several years now. He owns a Yaris (shown below) and a Scion tC rated at 443 whp. His vision of a place where information, community and the ability to buy quality products combine on one site comes to fruition here. He has one of the few successful turbo Yaris mods in the USA, and continues to push the 1.5L engine and car to the limits of performance. Garm tracks his cars and assists as an instructor for Speed Ventures, a Southern California race organization. The Yaris is currently purposed for SCCA autocross events in 2010, CSM class.

This ride is affectionately known as "Kurokoma-kun", a Japanese name that means black pony. The Yaris is known for crisp handling, especially with suspension mods as this one has -- and the owner drives it for autocross racing events.
